My name is Leanne Kinghorn.
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved interacting with people – whether it was for work or socially – and helping them. The choices I have made in my professional life reflect this – professional massage therapist, corporate fundraiser for NGOs, owning and running my own pet grooming parlour, setting up a company that helps people declutter, down-size, pack and move, and finally working as a private PA to an elderly couple in Constantia.
Making a real difference to people’s lives makes me happy .
Near&Dear bridges this gap by offering heart-first companionship and gentle support through weekly visits. Each visit is an opportunity to share a cup of tea, help with small errands, and provide honest updates that reassure families their parents are not just managing, but feeling seen, heard, and connected.
